We buy scrap, junk and written-off vehicles anywhere in Lions Bay and tow them away free. Running or not. You get paid at pickup, before the car leaves your driveway.
Steep driveway, single-lane switchback, or a car that has not moved since the last time it was insured? That is the usual job up here. We bring a winch.
No inspection appointment, no listing it, no strangers coming to your door on a Saturday. One phone call sets the price and the pickup window.
Year, make, model, and roughly what shape it is in. Whether it rolls and steers matters more than whether it starts. We quote on the phone, not after we arrive.
Give us your road and we will tell you which truck we are sending. Kelvin Grove Way, Bayview, Timbertop, Brunswick Beach, all the same to us. You do not need to move the car to the highway.
Sign the transfer, hand over the plates if they are still on it, take the money, and watch it go up the hill on the deck. Ten minutes at the curb, typically.
If it has four wheels and a VIN, it is probably on this list. Fleet and multiple-vehicle pickups are welcome, and so is the second car that has been under a tarp since the kids moved out.
We also take heavy equipment and larger machines off residential and job-site properties. If you are looking at something bigger than a pickup, call and describe it.
Lions Bay is a stack of terraces cut into the mountainside above Howe Sound, and almost nothing here has a flat driveway. Most tow operators quote for a level suburban curb and then discover the switchback, the retaining wall, and the carport with the rock face behind it.
We book Lions Bay pickups knowing what the roads are. Here is roughly how it goes depending on where you sit.
Off the Kelvin Grove exit and down toward Tidewater Way. Short, tight, and close to the water, with narrow shoulders and parking that fills up in summer. We work the winch line from the road rather than backing a deck down.
Centre Road, Lions Bay Avenue, Oceanview and lower Bayview. Reasonable truck access, but driveways drop away sharply from the road. Non-runners get pulled up to the deck instead of nosed down.
Upper Bayview, Timbertop, Mountain Drive, Panorama. Long climbs, blind switchbacks and single-lane sections. This is where the extra winch cable earns its keep, and where we would rather see a photo of the driveway before we dispatch.
The north end, in off the Brunswick exit, with resident-only parking and a tight loop at the bottom. We keep the truck out of the way of neighbours and stage on the road above.
Most Lions Bay pickups land between $150 and $2,500. A rusted-out commuter and a late-model truck with a clean converter are not the same conversation, so here is what actually moves the figure.
We would rather tell you now than have you sit on hold for something we do not do.
Real trucks, real driveways, real cars leaving on the deck.
Lions Bay is the base. From here it is a short run either direction on Highway 99, so the whole Sea to Sky corridor and the West Vancouver side are all normal same-day territory. If a highway closure changes the timing, we call you with a new window rather than leaving you guessing.

The phone is faster, and it is the only way to get a firm number in one go. But if you are at work or it is late, fill this in and we will come back to you with a figure.

Most Lions Bay pickups land between $150 and $2,500. What moves the number is weight, year, whether the catalytic converter is still on it, and whether it drives onto the deck under its own power. Call with the year, make, model and a rough condition and you will get a firm figure on the phone.
Yes. That is the normal job here. Most of the village sits on switchback driveways cut into the slope, and plenty of them are single lane with a rock face on one side. We send a winch-equipped flatbed and pull the vehicle up to the road rather than trying to turn a truck around in your carport. Send a photo of the driveway if you are unsure and we will tell you before we dispatch.
Yes. Towing is included, the Sea to Sky run is included, and the winch work is included. The number quoted on the phone is the number you are handed at pickup. There is no callout fee and nothing is deducted at the curb.
Same-day is normal when you call in the morning. Lions Bay is a short run up Highway 99 from Horseshoe Bay, so the drive is rarely the problem. The one thing that changes timing is a Sea to Sky closure or a long backup, in which case we will call you with a new window rather than leave you waiting.
Yes. Non-runners are most of what we pick up. No keys, no battery, seized engine, flat tires, sitting since 2011 under a tarp on a gravel pad, all fine. It does not need to be insured or road legal, and it does not need to move.
Have the vehicle registration and a piece of photo ID that matches the name on it. That is usually the whole list. If the registration is lost or the registered owner has died or moved away, call before booking and we will tell you what ICBC needs so the pickup is not wasted.
No. We buy and remove vehicles only. We do not sell parts, we do not do roadside assistance or boosts, and we do not buy vehicles outside British Columbia.
One call gives you a firm number and a pickup window. Free towing, cash in hand, and the car gone before dinner.
